A named set of places with its own link.
A list answers one question a visitor is actually asking. What is open on Sunday. Where can I take the kids. Where can I bring the dog. Where is there parking.
Each list has its own link, which opens the tour showing that list and nothing else. That link is what you put in a post, on a poster or in an email, and it drops somebody straight into the answer.
Name the list after the question, not after the category. Open on Sunday beats Sunday retail.
Everything in a category puts every place of that kind on the list and keeps itself right as places come and go. Nothing to maintain.
Pick places on the map is for a list that is only yours, where no category would do: the six places with a Christmas window, the four with a patio.
You can use both together: a whole category plus a few picked by hand.
Copy it and paste it into a post or an email, or print it as a QR code from the Links and QR screen.
Because the link opens the tour already showing the list, a visitor lands on the answer rather than on a home screen they have to navigate.
Off keeps the list and hides it, which suits a seasonal one you will want again in November.
