Where you land, and how to find the rest.
The Front Desk opens here. Every card on this page is one part of running your tour: the events, the offers, the places, the numbers. Each card says in one sentence what it does, so you can find your way around without learning a menu first.
You are not expected to use all of them. Most tours live in three or four and never touch the rest.
Four figures sit above the cards: how many people opened the tour, how many walked it, what they looked at and what is live at this moment.
They are the same figures Analytics reports in full. Here they are a glance, so you can tell at a look whether anything needs you today. Press Analytics in the menu for the whole picture.
Press anywhere on a card to open it. The card carries its own one-line description, and some carry a count, so Events tells you how many events you have without opening it.
Every card has the same twin in the menu on the left. The cards are for finding something; the menu is for going straight there once you know its name.
The small dots in a card's corner are its handle. Hold them and drag the card to a new spot inside its own area, and the order you set is remembered for you the next time you sign in.
A card can only move inside its own area. That keeps the groups meaning something: the running of the tour stays together, the results stay together.
It is worth doing. A tour that lives in Events, Places and Analytics should have those three sitting first.
The menu lists every screen, grouped the way the cards are, and it stays in view wherever you go. Hovering any entry tells you what that screen is before you open it.
The tour's name sits at the top. The Front Desk runs one tour at a time: to work on another, go back to the dashboard and press Front Desk on that tour's card.
Every screen carries its own help down the right hand side: what it is, what it is used for, how to use it step by step, and then every control on the screen named and explained.
Two ways deeper from there. Read the full guide at the top of that panel opens this Academy at the guide for the screen you are on. And a control's name in the panel is itself a link to the part of the guide that covers it.
You can also just hover. Rest the pointer on any button, switch or menu entry on a Front Desk screen and a small card tells you what it is, with a way into the guide if you want more. Nothing to press, and nothing to find first.
The desk shows what your role allows. An owner sees everything. A manager sees everything except the people and the grants. A contractor sees the scouting and capture work. A place sees its own listing and nothing else.
So a screen another person told you about may genuinely not be on your menu. That is the grant, not a fault. People is where an owner changes it.
